Alex Petrikas

Founder and CEO

Alex first created The Pilot Radio back in 2011 as a project to pass time between school and work. He went on to become a Customer Service Supervisor with American Airlines and in 2016 went to flight school full-time to finish his aviation training. In 2017 Alex got his first commercial flying job flying corporate in a PC12. He went on to fly a number of different turboprops and jets and eventually found himself at Boutique Air as a captain where he managed the pilot hiring department and instructed in the PC12. In 2019 he left Boutique Air and became an airline pilot with PSA (American Eagle) flying the CRJ series. In October of 2020 Alex, like many pilots, was furloughed due to COVID-19. After much planning and lots of 'behind the scenes' work, Alex is thrilled to bring back The Pilot Radio and is excited to watch it grow with the help of the TPR crew and the continued support of its listeners! You can find Alex hosting the show 'Pilot Talk' every Friday at 8pm ET!
